Military Honors

​In 2000 Congress provided Military Funeral Honors for any military veteran discharged under honorable conditions. Such Military Honors consists of an Honor Guard with at least two uniformed service members representing the branch of service the veteran served in, the playing of Taps, and a presentation of the flag to the next of kin.  Our pipers offer another layer of respect and gratitude to Military Honors and take their lead from the Honor Guard Team Leader to insure the ceremony is conducted with the utmost dignity and respect. The respect and gratitude all Americans owe our veterans is expressed in our music and each of our pipers feel honored and privileged to play for these great Americans
